Jan Willen Van Borselen (1825-1892), oil on canvas, Dutch landscape with windmill and cows in a meadow, signed IMPORTANT SEE NOTE IN CONDITION REPORT THIS CANVAS HAS BEEN RELINED h:16 w:26 in.

No visible tears; no loose paint. UV light shows no signs of over-painting Canvas appears to have been backed, but not relined.
LATER We have now removed the loose lining and feel that the canvas may not been relined although it is stiff and appears to have been varnished on the back. Fresh images of the back without the loose lining will be published on line and buyers must make up their own minds on this issue.FINAL NOTE FURTHER INSPECTION HAS NOW CONFIRMED THAT THIS CANVAS HAS BEEN RELINED
