Mid 19th Century Gothic design tortoiseshell veneered and Ormolu Bracket Clock having a three train fusee movement chiming the quarters on eight bells and striking the hours on a gong. The arched brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and two subsidiary dials strike/silent and Cambridge/8 bells, with fine gilt spandrels. Ormolu mounts to finials, feet and side frets.
The movement is unsigned but is probably London made. h:19 w:10 d:7 in.
